Republican Debate - WTF?

Yeah, it really wasn't that much of a debate really. It was a whole bunch of anti-conservative questions and Iraqi war questions that were designed to be silly and non-productive.

Here's a new of the questions and what MY answers would be shall be added in BOLD text. The questions and answers are below the fold.

Daniel Dukovnic (sp) from Walnut Creek, California, wants to know: What do you dislike most about America?
Not a thing. This country was founded under the greatest set of laws that our fore-fathers could have ever concieved and if followed we would still continue to prosper. However, the constant shift of power from the people to the federal government is alarming and this country should be returned to it's original roots.

Do you believe global warming exists? Interesting question, but a trapping one nonetheless. It is true that the Earth has been warming, and has been since the last ice age, but I do not believe that there is enough evidence that can soundly place the blame of a warming trend upon mankind. More and more science each day is reported to show the contrary and many begin to point to the recent hightened activity of the Sun could be the cause.

If you were president, would you work to phase out the IRS?
In a heartbeat. It costs nearly $300-$500 billion a year for the government to actually comply with the current tax code and fund the IRS. That is more per year than what the citizens actually pay in to the government. We are already losing money each year thanks to the IRS and the current Tax Code. Reform is on order.

Would the day that Roe v. Wade is repealed be a good day for Americans?
Absolutely. The reason has nothng to do with my stance on Abortion, but because the law itself is a "bad law". Roe Vs. Wade was put in to place by justices legislating from the bench and in that process they came up with a decision by reading in to the constitution something that isn't there. It is a false law and that means it was created seperate from the process nescessary to create such legislation. It should be rolled back and if Congress wishes to debate on the issue to make it a valid law then let them do so.

Would you support the use of public funds for abortion?
No, the forceful use of someone elses money should not be passed around by the federal government to fund programs that the citizen may not agree with. This is why we have a private sector.

Has the increased influence of Christian conservatives in your party been good for it?
Absolutely, at least for those who have actually kept those influences dear to them. Many parade around and claim to keep such Christian values dear to them, but do not act accordingly. This creates a misrepresentation to the public and gives Christian values a bad name. However, to those who actually act in the accordances of Christian values they are truly the happiest and more productive of all.

A through F, how would you rate the Bush administration's handling of the Iraq war?
I would rate it a B. While he has had some moments where he should have clarified his purpose to the american people I do not believe that the war has been mismanaged or handled inappropriately. While the newscasters and reporters have painted a bad light upon the president it should be noted that, despite what you see on the television, the war is not a disaster.

Ryan from Los Angeles wants you to name one thing that the federal government does really well and one thing that it does poorly.
They tax people pretty well, and that means they are pretty good at taking money from hard working people and use it to fund failing social programs just to buy votes. As for the poor aspect? They are pretty much failures at saving money. They like to spend, spend, and spend some more.

Well, I might add some more of the questions later on, but im tired of typing now. Some people say I should run for public office at times, but I doubt it would ever be a wonderful and glorious experience for me. Oh, I shall be adding questions that SHOULD have been asked in a post coming up in the future. Stay tuned.
